"LA PELLE DE LA DORDOGNE"
You will navigate on the Dordogne river, classified as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, which the Celts once called “Du Unna” meaning fast water! However, the route of this beautiful rowing tour winds peacefully between the prestigious vineyards of Sainte-Foy and those of Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux. The river is wide, calm, and not very winding. From the river, you will admire the well-aligned wine châteaux and the beautiful 18th-century limestone sand-coloured houses. To round off your weekend, take the time to visit Saint-Émilion or explore Sainte-Foy-la-Grande and Castillon-la-Bataille. A full immersion into the Middle Ages is guaranteed!
Upon landing at the Castillon-la-Bataille rowing club, after a refreshing shower, the welcoming reception will be followed by a pleasant meal with live music, included in your registration fees.
