Starting from Chouzé-sur-Loire, the first few kilometers will take you through the wild Loire, teeming with birds, until you reach the confluence with the Vienne river, where the Prieuré de Saint Martin and the Château de la Dame de Montsoreau gradually unveil themselves. You will pass by troglodyte villages and cross the town of Saumur, under the watchful eye of its castle, until you reach the mouth of the Thouet river, where the club is located, which is the end of the first day leg.
On the next day, you will continue your journey along the royal river, pass under the suspension bridge between Gennes and Les Rosiers, and arrive at a sandbank in front of the former Saint Maur Abbey after passing the charming village of Thoureil.
