This tour including three legs and lasting two days, along the Basque coast between Hendaye at the Spanish border and Biarritz has been designed for experienced sea-rowers in a good physical shape. The participants will enjoy two types of landscapes all along the route, with the Pyrenean chain and the Spanish coast, including the Txingudi bay in Hendaye and the bay of Saint Jean de Luz, without forgetting their fishing harbours of course. The tour offers spectacular views of the eight beaches stretching from Hendaye to Biarritz, enhanced by some of the Basque Coast’s most iconic landmarks. Along the way, you will admire the Abbadia Estate, with its château-observatory built for the scientist Antoine d’Abbadie, the Fort of Socoa, the picturesque fishing port of Guéthary, the famous Rock of the Virgin in Biarritz, and finally the Hôtel du Palais, originally built as the summer residence of Empress Eugénie.
