At the foot of the national Park des écrins, the Serre-Ponçon lake, the largest artificial lake in Europe, extends from Embrun city to Ubaye. You will directly start on the shore of the lake, at the Club Nautique Alpin on Chadenas (CNA) in Embrun. You will tour on both shores of the lake and get close to the Saint Michel chapel, a small unavoidable island of the lake.

Provisional programme

27/06 Saturday - Choose between a 25 ou 30 km tour

7.00 am Breakfast and skippers' meeting

8.30 am Departure from Baie Saint Michel - Head towards Baie de Chanteloube, then Baie des Lionnets (possible stop) - Then, continue towards the Baie de La Bréole (a 25-km-leg) or Saint Vincent Les Forts beach (a 30-km-leg), then head to the left bank towards Le Sauze du Lac and return to Baie Saint Michel.

1.00pm Picnic lunch

7.00 pm Aperitif and dinner at Baie Saint Michel

28/06 Sunday - Choose between a 23 or 25 km tour

7.00 am Breakfast and skippers' meeting

8.30 am Departure from Baie Saint Michel - Crossing on the left riverside - Heading towards Savines Le Lac - Proceed under the bridge then row alongside the Chanterenne beach - Heading towards the Durance river mouth to go to the right bankside by Chadenas (or sooner if needed) and retourn to the Saint Michel bay.
